How to Join Portobello Timebank

We welcome anyone resident in and around EH15 on the north-east side of Edinburgh provided you are 16 or older. We welcome people of any gender, religion, nationality, ethnicity, physical ability or socio-economic status. Membership is free. 

Click the button below for the membership form. We will ask you to provide valid email addresses for two referees who've known you for at least a year (not family or other members of your household please). 

Your referees will receive our emails requesting references as soon as you submit your application. Please take time to check for typos as it can take a long time to discover mistakes.

When we have received satisfactory references your membership will be activated, and you will be invited to attend a short induction session to explain how things work.

Remember, you need two references. Emails requesting references are sent as soon as you submit your application, so you might want to ask them first.
